Bellevue’s Newest Neighborhood Match Program has come out, which means that every citizen in Bellevue has an opportunity to:

Enhance and beautify Bellevue’s neighborhoods
Encourage participation
Foster a sense of community and neighborhood pride

This program provides funding for small scale neighborhood improvement projects, and the City is willing to provide up to $10,000 for each project. The community must also match every donation made by the city. This is an amazing gateway to connect our community and work together to build a beautiful Bellevue at every chance we’re given!

Mayor Conrad Lee was among hundreds of world leaders who attended the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) from April 6 to 8 in Hainan, China, an assembly equivalent to the World Economic Forum in Davos.

BFA, now in its 13th year was attended by such figures as Bill Gates, Bob Hawke, former Prime Minister of Australia, and Admiral Bill Owens. Lee has long encouraged business relations between China and Washington state.
