Public Safety

In Bellevue, we can all feel safe walking through downtown because public safety is one of Mayor Conrad Lee’s priorities. During the recession, Conrad worked with the City Council to trim the overall budget without making cuts to public safety. Conrad also supports various public safety initiatives throughout the community; for example, he worked with the St. Luke’s Church to create Sophia Place, a permanent facility to shelter homeless women. Steps like these ensure that we not only create a safe city but also help those around us to better their lives.

Bellevue is also home to some of the region’s best health services. Our city’s numerous hospitals and hundreds of trained medical professionals mean that we can all rest assured that our loved ones will he safe in the case of an emergency. In fact, Bellevue has one of the state’s highest save rates for heart attacks, saving countless lives each year. At the same time, Mayor Conrad Lee has worked with the City Council to reduce our tax burden. As former state Attorney General Rob McKenna said, at this rate, Bellevue will be the first city where death and taxes are not inevitable!

Conrad needs your support to keep our neighborhoods safe, and you can help him out by donating $50, $25, $10, or any amount now!

This November, support Conrad Lee to keep our city safe.
