Today was a powerful reminder of why I love serving this community. I had the pleasure of doorbelling with my colleague, Paul Clark, as we connected with residents across Bellevue. These face-to-face conversations are at the heart of public service. They give us the opportunity to listen directly to the people we represent, hear their concerns, and share our hopes for the city’s future.
Paul and I are both running for Bellevue City Council this year, each of us in different positions, but we’re united by a shared commitment to the people of Bellevue. From housing and public safety to infrastructure and sustainability, we’re focused on advancing practical, community-centered policies that reflect the values of our city.
One of the most energizing parts of today was the turnout from our incredible volunteers. In just a few hours, we reached nearly 1,000 voters across the city. That kind of impact is only possible because of community members who give their time and energy to support local leadership. To everyone who joined us today, thank you. Your dedication makes a real difference.
Working alongside people like Paul reminds me of the importance of collaboration in city leadership. We bring different perspectives to the table, but we share the same goal of building a stronger, more inclusive Bellevue for everyone.
As we head toward November, I’m excited to continue connecting with neighbors and working together for our city’s future. I look forward to the opportunity to keep serving Bellevue and to continue working alongside leaders like Paul Clark next term.
Let’s keep Bellevue moving forward together.
Onward,
Conrad
